Simple Techniques for Easy Diy Nail Designs

When it comes to cheap womens fashion, the diy trend is the first thing that comes to mind. This current has become so popular that it has infiltrated all fashion domains, even nail art. Why go to a salon when you can make your own sophisticated nail designs? Nail design has advanced so much lately, that it can now be considered art. The best nail design artists can charge even thousands of dollars for a simple manicure. However, you don’t need to be an artist in order to create nail designs. There are a lot of techniques that allow you to create seemingly complicated nail designs which are in fact remarkably simple. Stick with us as we are about to teach you a few tricks for easy diy nail designs.

Ombre designs

The ombre style has been very popular in the last few years and it is also one of the easiest styles to achieve in terms of cheap womens fashion. You can even die your clothes in ombre shades. Though its influence in fashion and hair colors has diminished greatly in the last year, it continues to be a major trend in nail designs. Moreover, the ombre designs make for super easy diy nail designs. In order to achieve such a design, you need the following things: two shades of nail polish, a sponge (dish sponges can work but you can achieve a softer effect with a foundation sponge) and a flat surface (a mirror, a piece of glass or a flat ceramic saucer). Pour one drop of nail polish on the blending surface and then pour another drop of the other shade, right next to the first drop. The two shades should touch without blending. Next, take the sponge, dip it into the two drops of nail polish and them press the sponge on your nail. The two shades should transfer from the brush onto your nail under the shape of a ombre design.

Strips and other geometrical shapes

If you have a shaky hand and your geometrical nail designs turn out blurry, you can use scotch tape for precision. Simply stick the scotch tape on your nail, covering the parts which you don’t want to paint, after which paint your nail normally. When the nail polish is dry, remove the scotch tape. With this technique, you can create the following easy diy nail designs: stripes, chevron patterns, zigzag patterns and much more.

Thin lines and small dots

The normal nail polish brush does not allow for a lot of flexibility when it comes to designs, not even the easy diy nail designs. However, there are special nail polishes which come with a thin brush. Nevertheless, this brush has the same length as a normal brush, despite being thinner. This means that it too can be hard to use for beginners since it needs to be pressed gently on the nail. However, you can achieve a higher level of stability with a toothpick. Small dots can also be perfectly achieved with a paper pin.
